This car was recently purchased from the family of the original owner and is an excellent, straight, solid, and rustfree specimen. This car still retains it’s original title (after financing) from 1962 and it’s original sales contract for the new car price of $2, 500.50 ! This vehicle has been loved, maintained, and garage-kept from day one and has been the property of a lady… Sometime during the 1980’s, it received a cosmetic restoration in the form of a very good, “chrome-off , quality repaint in it’s original color of rare black. It was also retrimmed in it’s correct Parchment color with black carpets as well. The seats are very comfortable with a full array of working instruments. Today, the car’s paintwork is still presenting very nicely with an attractive and highly glossy look. It’s a completely usable and approachable sportscar. Panel fit all around the car is per factory. The chromework is mostly original and presents very well. The lightly used original windshield glass is also testament to the car’s low mileage. The car runs and drive exceptionally well as expected, and has just been fitted with (4) new 48-spoke chrome wire wheels with professionally balanced, quality whitewall radial tires, with new hubs and knock-offs. It is also fitted with it’s original and desirable 4-speed with Overdrive gearbox (factory-fitted, hence the “LO” VIN number suffix). The original engine bay could use a very minor detailing in the form of repainting a few items in black and some firewall paint touchup. The car’s underside is typical and as expected from a well-cared-for low mileage car. It’s rustfree with all original sheetmetal, with a perfectly straight frame. After years of careful road use, it has acquired a layer of protective drivetrain oils. There is evidence of a replacement exhaust system at one point. The car includes a nice black softop and a matching sidecurtain set, both in good shape and in keeping with the rest of the car’s condition. Overall, this very honest and original Triumph is finished in an exceptional and rare factory color scheme with desirable options. It has an enviable one-owner history from new and has been cherished as a member of the family for all of it’s life. This gem of a sidescreen TR will prove to be a rewarding and fun motorcar for it’s next lucky caretaker.

Taxes and Registration fees:
Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
Title Information
: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.

In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of 10% by major credit card, cash in person or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person, bank certified funds to Seller. At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License.
