About this vehicle This 1962 Chevrolet Chevy II is a restored vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details 1962 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova 400 convertible. My dad purchased from the original owner in 1972 with 29000 miles. Has been in my family since then. Presently has 68000 miles. Was restored in 1996 to original specifications with the exclusion of some of the upholstery which could not be found. The paint is the original color, however it is base/clear coat finish. The car has always been garage kept and never driven in inclement weather. The finish has held up well over the yrs but is not perfect. The body is rust free except one small rust spot as pictured. In 1999, I began my he process of modernization for comfort and safer, more enjoyable driving. I have added power steering, power disk brakes, Church Boys Racing front suspension complete with sway bar and coil over shocks with 17” wheels and tires. The car now handles, drives, and handles like a modern car now. If you don’t want attention every where you go, this is not the car for you.
