Hilltop Auto proudly presents our stock # 183, this 1963 fully matching number 3.8 E-type roadster. This car came from the factory in black with the beige interior and a black hood. We have been trying to buy this car for 30 years. The fellow who owned it passed away and we purchased the car from his son. The owner was a specialist in Jaguar mechanics and had his own shop and this E-type has been in the local area for at least 40 years. The engine has been rebuilt, and when the car is warm and is sitting at an idle it still has over 40 psi on the oil pressure gauge. The car runs, drives and stops. This is the car everyone has been looking for. The paint and the interior are not great, but there is no rust holes. The floors, the sills, the boot and the bonnet are all in good shape. Use it the way it is, you could drive it home and not have to worry about the paint getting chipped! We have a Jaguar Heritage certificate for the car and a clear title in hand.
