Save us both a headache.
This nice 63 Belvedere 2 dr hdtp is NOT
a #1 or #2 car, in my opinion. Hence it isn't priced at 30K
or 40K like a #1 would be. As with all cars, personal
inspection is best, and if you can, please come and see it.
If that isn't possible, I hope my 100% ebay rating and the
pictures and info will help you decide. If you have
questions, please call BEFORE bidding. 269-223-2763.
1963 Plymouth B Body Max Wedge
Candidate. This car has a smooth running 318 w/AT, straight
rust free body panels, very solid floors, all good glass,
new tires, and very decent paint. I have all the major
chrome pieces, including the hard to find side chrome... and
they are straight with no dents. The bumpers are also
straight, no dents, with thining chrome. The interior is
dated, but still nice, with comfortable seats with no rips,
or heavy wear. The windshield is new, perfect. The roof is
nice, no dents. Tires are new, wheels are steelies. The frame is dirty, but with no structual rust at all. On the down side, the fuel system will need tobe cleaned, it has a very strong terpentine odor. (I run it
off of a bottle, not the gas tank). The brakes will need
looking into, as they are spongy. The A pillars have some
bubbling, but not bad. The hood and trunk floor have rust. The
hood has rust holes on the front lip. (a fiberglas hood, if
making a max wedge, would solve that), the hood other wise
is arrow straight, just the front lip is bad. The trunk had
pin holes in the well, the metal was weak. I bought a nice
dry trunk section from a rust free Southern California 63
4 dr donor car, it needs to be tacked in.
NOTE: I also have a complete RB 440
from carb to pan, with a 727 trans. If you hit BUY IT NOW...
The 440 and 727 will be INCLUDED! This 440 is a rare 1966
first year 440 engine. Serial is B 440 Maltese Cross X. (the
Maltese Cross stamped engines Chrysler built in the late
60's were special designated engines with stronger webbing
ect) If BUY IT NOW is not used, the 440 will not be offered
at the $1000 difference. This engine just returned from the
machine shop, the crank was turned, the mains were turned,
the cylinders were bored 30 over, cam bearings and all freeze plugs installed, $512.63 total. All the other components... trans, converter, heads, intake, carb, cam, manifolds ect... are all there but not freshened, just the block and crank. This is a nice opportunity to get a
desirable 62-65 B-Body 2 dr. Most of these vintage cars are
being swept up by the big car dealers, who restore them,
then ask a price most of us wrenchers can't afford. This car
can be very nice, if the right guy gets it. I have found
another car I want, so I am making this available at an
affordable price, my opinion.
I will need $1000 down within 48 hours
of auction close, either by paypal, or wire transfer. IF you
can't do this, please don't bid. The balance will be due in
full, within 7 days from auction close by certified funds or
cash. IF you can't do that, please don't bid.
I will assist your shipper in loading.
I also can personally transport this car anywhere in the
lower 48 for $1.50 per mile one way. But, you are not
bidding on the transportation, only the car. . We would
have to work that out if possible, I'm just saying, I'm
willing if you need it.
I can store the car, indoors, for 30
days after close, for you to arrange shipping. After 30
days, its $25 a day. Thanks, good bidding!!!!
