Own a piece of American automotive history. The Avanti was the first mass-produced car to feature a fiber-glass body and standard front disc-brakes. Less than 4600 of these cars were built in 1963 making this a rare collectible. The engine is the original 289 ci / 240 hp V8 and it's been rebuilt from top to bottom. The car had a complete body-off restoration a little over a year ago. The car has all new running gear and suspension including brand new alloy wheels and tires. The frame is spotless. NO RUST. It has power windows, steering, brakes and a tilt steering wheel. I have all the original parts including the front bumper, mirrors, emblems, etc. This car is turn-key. Just get in and drive.
NOTE TO POTENTIAL BUYERS :
This is the last time this car will be up for sale on EBAY. If it doesn't sell this time I will keep it. There is considerable more time and money in this car than what I'm asking for it.
