I purchased the rusty 1965 Giulia a few years back with intentions to restore.While pondering the amount of rust and what it would take to bring it back to life, I came across the restored body. I then decided to simply transfer all the parts from the complete rusty 65 to the 63 body.Simple right?
Well, a few years later they are up for sale together.
One could go many different ways with this project.They could do what I was planning to do/ or restore the 65 and have an extra body or transfer the parts and restore the 65 body!
A wooden cradle that bolts on to the body and two engine stands which was used in the rotisserie restoration of the 63 come with the body as well as the custom steerable aluminum cart that the 63 body is on. (stands not included).
The motor turns freely but will certainly need rebuilt.
All the glass and chrome is present. The interior is complete.The rear brakes were seized so the drums are in the trunk.
The 65 has a clear title and the 63 a bill of Sale.
A title could be obtained through a title service.
