Emerson Motorsports 427SC Cobra replica, fully custom build by renowned and universally respected Bill Emerson. Black/blue marbleized stripes, black interior. Own a premium, custom-built seriously–high-performance Emerson Cobra w/o having to wait two years for delivery! Registered under the coveted 'SB-100' (California Senate Bill 100)—that means no smog certification, no California registration hassles for the life of the car! Emerson Motorsports custom-fits each Cobra to its owner; I'm 6'-4 tall and thus this black beauty is a perfect fit for guys from 6' tall to around 6'-5 tall... plenty of legroom and torso room. Under the hood: 1970 Ford 460 'Interceptor' powerplant, built to specs out of Hot Rod Magazine (500+ horsepower) outfitted with: 750 Demon carburetor, Edelbrock heads and manifold; pistons, cam and roller valvetrain (solid lifters) all Comp; MSD Pro Billet distributor, SS braided hoses, engine compartment completely wrapped in SS, all mounts and brackets SS and polished aluminum, everything else is ceramic-coated in silver including the custom handbuilt headers. Built Ford C6 transmission w/custom stall converter. Suspension, brakes and rolling stock:adjustable coil-overs at all four corners, adjustable upper control arms in front with 4-wheel disc brakes (13 Alcons in front and 10 Corvettes in the rear), rack & pinion power steering; custom 17 Coddington Genisis-style 5-spoke rims (one of two sets that Chris Coddington built for Emerson) shod with Goodyear rubber. In the cockpit: teak dash and console, B&M 'Hammer' shifter, Simpson racing harnesses, Classic Instruments gauges, 800 watt 5.2 Kenwood Ectalon Surround Sound stereo system w/in-dash DVD player with 7 screen, center channel and 8 sub-woofer, Classic air conditioning, interior courtesy lights, Sunbrella cockpit cover and Viper alarm system and all the rest of Emerson's legendary standard equipment including a built-in foam-fire-suppression system. BIG Trunk: completely finished. Approximately 4, 300 miles [6, 900 km]. This car has captured First Place in every show that I've entered. Indeed, it won captured First Place at KOOL April Nights carshow in Redding the first three years I had it. And as you would expect with any Emerson serpent, it's a terrific, asphalt-gripping, grin-inducing drivin' machine. Note: I have the exhaustive (35-page) appraisal report completed on 22 June 2011 by the respected Auto Appraisal Network. Report conclusion of fair market value: $74, 500. I'll be glad to email the full report to you per your request.
