As you approach this dazzling 1965 Shelby Cobra Factory Five MK3 [FFR build#7095], the first thing you'll notice is the vibrant red finish. If you like hot, then Red Hot Chili Pepper is the hue for you. Once you take a seat behind the wheel, you'll start to appreciate the small details that make your driving experience even better than when this serpent was built. As only one example, the switch panel beneath the dash discreetly holds the seat heater controls as well as a double USB charge port. Depress the clutch and you'll feel the light pedal effort, thanks to Mike Forte's pedal effort reducer. Under the hood sits a Blueprint Performance 302ci V8 Crate Engine that has been upgraded since purchased. Twist the key and listen to the engine roar to life through the AFR '165' aluminum cylinder heads and stainless steel side pipes. Those premium AFR heads and the Comp Cams 'Extreme Energy' camshaft will have your heart pounding even before you engage the clutch. The details you won't see are the ARP engine fasteners and the Comp Cams 'Ultra Gold' rocker arms concealed beneath that freshly-powdercoated Cobra valve covers and air cleaner. Along with the purchase of this fantastic Cobra comes the Factory Five Order info and Blue Print Engine info for this car. In 2009 this 1965 Shelby Cobra Factory Five was recreated! Built from the best components. The previous owner had owned it since it new and has done extensive mods and changes to the engine.
