Vehicle Description: For sale in our Dallas showroom is a beautiful rotisserie restored 1966 Chevelle Malibu Convertible. What could make a Chevelle Malibu Convertible even better? How about if it had big block power, and how about if that big block was backed by a 4 speed manual transmission? Well, this one has it all. A rebuilt 454 CID V8 that was built to 375 HP specs with extras like the ceramic coated long tube headers with Flowmaster mufflers. The 4 speed manual is a Muncie M21 so you know that it can handle the horsepower. The rear end is a Chevrolet 12 bolt. Just take a look at the underside of this car, clean enough to eat off of. During the restoration new sheet metal with new floor pans, trunk pan, quarter panels, and door skins. Once the body lines were all set the body was covered in layers of beautiful Marina Blue paint from top to bottom, even the underbody is Marina Blue. The frame was blasted and repainted in chassis black. Finally new bushings and body mounts were installed. Along with all new suspension, new brakes were installed with new hard lines, calipers and hardware, drilled front rotors and new parking brake cables. To wrap up the visual impact 17 inch chrome American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels were installed wrapped in Nitto NT555 tires front and back. Some of the additional items changed from stock Malibu to Chevelle are the gauges, the “Chevelle” chrome rear panel, New center console with clock, and knee knocker tachometer. If you are looking to get ready for spring and summer cruises for the upcoming season you can’t go wrong with this car.
