We are a private collection of 50's, 60's, & 70's muscle cars. We also do topside restorations in our Jacksonville and Orlando area locations. From time to time we offer one of our collector vehicles up for sale. These are mainly topside restorations that can be driven to local car shows and cruise ins. Many of our vehicles are previous trophy winners. We are not dealers just car enthusiasts who have been collecting cars for years and performing very nice driver quality restorations for all to enjoy. We are not a concourse restorer and many of our cars are trailered to events but most vehicles can be driven if your choose to do so.
All Around Details:
Up for auction is our super nice 1966 Oldsmobile 442. This is a real 442 with a big block 400 engine and a 4 speed transmission. Has factory 3:90 rear end posi-trac gear. Engine has been balance and blueprinted with high lift cam, ceramic headers, electronic ignition, and Holley double pumper carburetor. Car is rust free and is base coat clear coat non metallic black. New Wilwood front disc brakes with cross drilled rotors. New Rocket wheels and tires. New exhaust out the rear. Interior has been completely redone including headliner, carpet, and upholstery. New clutch and added scattershield. Has rare dash mounted factory tach. New front and rear bumpers. Car looks and sounds incredible.
Exterior Details:
442 is finished in base coat clear coat Ebony Black. Has been wet sanded and buffed for a high impact shine. All side body stainless trim is there and has been polished. New chrome front and rear bumpers. All 442 emblems are new at fenders, deck lid, and grill. New Rocket wheels and tires along with a great stance give this 442 a correct period look. Exhaust exits out the rear. There is absolutely no rust in this car. Floor pans and trunk pans are solid.
Interior Details:
Interior has been redone including new headliner, door panels, sill plates, carpet, and seating upholstery. Factory steering wheel has been restored. This car has rare dash mounted tachometer and Hurst shifter. Aftermarket gauges mounted under dash are functional and provide more accurate readings of engine conditions. Has racing seat belts. All windows roll up and down as they should.
Engine & Mechanical:
Has balanced and blueprinted 400ci big block engine. Motor has less than 1000 miles on it since rebuild. Has Lunati high light camshaft with roller rockers and Holley 750cfm double pumper carburetor. Nice ceramic coated headers into 2.5 exhaust and Magnaflow mufflers give this 442 a great thumper sound. Transmission is a Muncie M22 Rockcrusher and was rebuilt prior to install. New Centerforce clutch kit and scattershield were added during install. Aluminum three core radiator keeps this big block from running hot. Has electric fuel pump mounted at rear and electronic ignition. No leaks at engine, tranny, or rear end. Very detailed engine bay. Has Wilwood disc brake kit on front with cross drilled rotors and powder coated calipers for a great look and super stopping power. Rear is factory 12 Bolt with 3:90 gears and Posi Traction. Nearly $10, 000 spent on this new drivetrain in the last two years.
Summary:
This is one bad ass 442 with a stout new motor and bullet proof 4 speed transmission. The car looks, sounds, and runs incredible. This is not your everyday muscle car. Others have Chevelles, Mustangs, and Camaros. The lucky winning bidder will have an infamous factory muscle car that you don't see many of at car shows and cruise ins. This is a great high end quality drivable car that can be taken to car shows and cruise ins to enjoy and be proud of. I encourage any vehicle inspection prior to taking delivery.
