For your consideration is a 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible, which has been tastefully restored to a mild restomod. The restoration started with a complete, all original, rust free car which had been stored for many years with 88, 490 original miles. The exterior was painted with a custom Midnight Blue and is absolutely stunning to the eye. The interior has been completely redone in its original Pearl White seat covers and door panels. There is new black carpeting and the dash is the original and is in excellent condition. The original engine has been thoroughly detailed and runs like new. All new door, window, trunk, etc. weatherstripping has been installed. The car is fitted with low-profile wheels and tires, 20 rear and 18 front. I have been restoring cars and trucks as a hobby for 40+ years and have personally spent hundreds of hours on this beautiful Cutlass. The car runs, rides and performs amazing. It is truly a show car that you can drive anywhere and rely on its dependability.
Note: Not included in this auction but may be available to the buyer is a complete rebuilt 1967 Oldsmobile 400 cubic inch engine, with the original rebuilt transmission, which came out of a 442. I had them built to replace the 330 cubic inch if it ever started to get tired, but that could be a long time. For those who are not familiar with the 1966 and 1967 Cutlass, the body style was only made (2) years as well as the 400 cubic inch motors.
