1966 STUDEBAKER COMMANDER, 4-DOOR
Original
6 cylinder engine.3 speed trans with overdrive. Clutch rod is a two piece unit and has come apart where it pivots, and will need to be repaired or replaced before it can be driven. Gas tank needs to be cleaned out. Fuel line is disconnected and run to a gallon jug to start the car.Engine Has new plugs, wires, etc.New battery. Tires about 50% tread.Right rear door top hinge is broken, so until fixed door should not be opened.Car does have some rust (see pics) as follows: Both rocker panels, as well as a hole in trunk floor that can be easily patched. Some rust in lower fender corners and a small amount in the lower areas of the doors. Floor pans seem solid as well as inner fenders and aprons.All trim is in good condition. Bumpers are good shape, as well as all the other trim pieces. Glass is good. No cracks etc. Windows roll up and down easily.Have been as honest as I can about the car's condition, and attempted to provide pics that clearly reflect any deficiencies. Keep in mind, this is a 50 year old vehicle. With very little effort or investment, this will be a reliable and unique antique vehicle that you can have fun with and/or show.
