I bought this Camaro from an old friend... he built this car in 2008. I have a few pictures of the build. The car was originally a factory Granada Gold/White Top 396/375hp SS 4-Speed Center Console car.
He built the car how he wanted it to be and he built it to keep. It has an awesome stance with a slight rake. (this is the way these cars looked back in the day… I know because I was there LOL) ... This Camaro runs and drives fantastic… it is a fast car and with a newer 3.42 Gear it’s perfectly happy cruising 70mph down the highway. The car is tuned correctly and dialed in, it brakes good, the steering is tight and the car is a pleasure to drive.
It is also a serious head turner as you can see in the pictures below. The Mercedes Silver paint is an eyeful and it is slick like glass and buffed out to a mirror finish.  The body panels all fit well and line up. There are a couple small hairline cracks in the paint around the rear windshield and a couple very small nicks in the paint on the door edge but overall very nice looking. (it was painted in 2008) The casual on looker would call it a 10 however it is not perfect... The body including the floors and trunk are solid and original. I don’t see any patches in the floors, trunk, or rockers.
Following is what the car has and is: Starting from the bottom… 12 bolt rear end 3.42 Gear positive traction (newer gear as it was a 4.11 Gear), multi leaf rear springs, high performance fuel tank and lines, ladder bars, frame connectors, big 3” stainless exhaust from the headers back with FlowMaster’s... It has Weld wheels with BF Goodrich Radial TA’s on the rear P275/60R15’s (about 50% tread life), and BF Goodrich Advantage TA’s on the front 195/65R15’s (brand new) … Under the hood is a super detailed and strong running 454 big block with a nice sounding cam. It has an Edelbrock aluminum Air Gap intake, Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor, MSD distributor, MSD wires, MSD Blaster 3 ignition, MSD 6AL box, and AFCO Racing radiator. This Camaro also has power steering and power disc brakes. The transmission is a Turbo 400 with a 2500 Stall and a shift kit.
The interior is just average, nothing fancy. It has 69 Camaro front seats. It has Auto Meter Sport Comp Silver Tachometer on the dash with a shift light, and a set of Pro Comp Auto Meter gauges including water temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure, and volts. The fuel gauge works and the lights work… no radio.
This is a good car and the new owners should be very happy with it.
