This is a 1968 Datsun 1600 roadster with an odometer reading of 56425. The car was purchased from California and has been stored in my heated garage for 3 years. It has been generally maintained by personal mechanic.
It has a low windshield flat dashboard, and racing road bar removable windshield. There is a new convertible top which is in great condition with all buttons snap correctly. The top rear shield on the convertible top is customized where it can be unzipped. The car also comes with a hardtop as well, which is also in good condition. A new fuel pump has been placed, new brake line, and shocks.
The exterior has been repainted at some point, no documentation. There is a paint chipping on the driver’s side near the convertible top. There was also a dent on the lower part of the driver’s side door. This had been repainted over leaving a shade difference on the car. There is some bubbling of the paint near the rear tires.
The interior is in fair condition. The driver’s seat will need to be reupholstered and the passenger has a small tear in it as well. The dash is in great condition. The radio works, however, it is not connected so no sound comes out.
Overall the car runs well.
