It is new top to bottom, in and out. It's obvious the car has hardly been used, it's spotless.
EXTERIOR: Wow, what a looker. This turquoise color is really bright and certainly stands out from the others. The bodywork is top notch, you can look down the sides and it's absolutely straight. Body gaps are real... nice. The paint has a clear coat finish polished like wet ice. Upfront the headlight bezels, bumper and trim around the grill are show chrome. Turn signals and grills are replaced. In back the bumper is show chrome. The mirrors, emblems and handles are new. All the stainless trim is polished like chrome- windshield trim, the top of the doors, around the convertible opening, rocker trim and wheel well moldings. This really enhances the car. The windshield and window seals are new. Door jambs are slick, new sill plates and weatherstrips. The Rally ll wheels are new with clear coat finish. New correct lug nuts, center caps and trim rings. New BFG tires. New black convertible top, the frame was painted and has new weatherstrips.
INTERIOR: Inside the car is striking. The pearl white upholstery is fantastic looking against the turquoise accents. Everything is new, and I mean everything. New cushions in the seats. New upholstery, side panels and armrests. Even the cranks, handles and ashtrays are new. New bright turquoise carpet with matching turquoise embroidered floor mats. Even has new turquoise seat belts front and back. The entire dash area has been restored. New bezel with chrome edges, new woodgrain, reupholstered dash pad, new mirror. Upgraded walnut steering wheel. Also upgraded retro stereo system.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Everything in the engine compartment is new and restored. The 400 motor is completely rebuilt and upgraded with an Edelbrock intake, new Edelbrock carb with electric choke and all new MSD ignition system. The motor has a fresh coat of the correct Pontiac aqua engine paint. Every component is new, there are still stickers on some. The brake system is upgraded with new CPP power booster and dual reservoir master. Upgraded with aluminum BeCool radiator with overflow bottle. Dual electric fans cool it down. New pulleys, wiper motor, alternator, wires, hoses. The engine bay is painted a smooth black finish.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is all metal with a coat of aqua spatter paint. New rubber mat. I am always impressed when they pay the extra to get a new tire and wheel that matches the other 4, this has a new Rally ll and BFG tire. Has a restored jack. There's also an amplifier and custom speakers as part of the stereo system. There is a high quality soft cover included as well.
UNDERSIDE: It is completely restored underneath. The front steering and suspension is all rebuilt and detailed. Has sway bar. Bottom of motor is spotless, new starter. Turbo 350 automatic is rebuilt, new u-joints. The rear suspension is rebuilt, new shocks, springs and bushings. Has sway bar. New 3.23 posi. New fuel tank and lines. New brakes, disc in front. New brake lines and e-brake cables. New dual exhaust system. Floors and frame were stripped and painted.
This car is new. I said it's hardly used, I don't think there's 100 miles on it. I guaranty it would cost you a lot more then what we are asking to duplicate this restoration. You can't tell it from a factory GTO. That 1 digit in the vin that says Lemans is saving you $20, 000!
