1967 MG MGB GT

MG MGB GT (1967)
for sale

Price: US $2,250.00

Description:

The odometer on this car shows -
08680
miles, but seems to be way too low for a car that's almost 50 years old. But - who knows. .might be truly special.Speedometer doesn't look to have been replaced.
This is a very unique MGB GT project that has a very low Buy It Now price. It is very complete with a few extra parts (Seats x2, grills x3, misc. engine parts, etc.Engine hasn't been started in a few years, but does turn over easily.Car has been stored in my heated shop since I purchased it in 2007.
The only rust-through that I have found is:- 1 small 2 inch hole in battery box in engine compartment.- 1 very small 1 inch hole in spare tire well under floor of hatchback. However - there are signs of body filler on lower section of driver's side front fender.Rockers, floors & rest of car seem solid.
Original color is the very desireable British Racing Green with
Black
interior. However - the car is currently a Very Ugly mish-mash of paint colors & primers.
I have included a picture of the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate
that shows original:- Make & Model- Car/Chassis Number.- Engine Number.- Body Number.- Color (exterior, interior & trim)- Date of Build- Date of Dispatch.- Destination (Dealer)- Other Numbers (Gearbox Number, Rear Axle Number, other Key Numbers)- Details of Factory Fitted Equipment.
Don't miss out on this very unique British classic. You'll be the hit of any & all British Car Shows. .
My wife & I have sold our house in Indiana & are moving out of state.Unfortunately - This great little british car
Must Go
...
Car must be picked up in Indiana (46725) - no later than December 17th.
Thank you so much for your time & consideration.Happy Bidding. ...

“This very unique 1967 MGB GT was originally built for the european market featuring Over Drive, factory Wire Wheels & Right Hand Steering. This very solid & complete project was originally shipped to Belfast, Ireland for european sales. It was then bought by a US officer and eventually brought to America. It still retains it's very special & unconventional Right Hand Steering. When was the last time you saw a Right Hand steering car at your local Car Show???This car is very complete with additional grills, seats & other misc. items. It does have 2 small rust-through areas....1 2inch hole in battery box in engine compartment & 1 1inch hole in spare tire well. Rockers, floors & rest of car is very solid showing only surface rust & a very ugly mish-mash of paint colors & primers.Original, color of the car was the very desireable British Racing Green with black interior.I do have the British Heritage Certificate that shows:-Build origin, date, destination & original exterior & interior colors”
