You’re about to bid on one of the most exciting and investment sought after Shelby GT500 fastback built and restored in a «concours» condition. All numbers match, known history, fully documented, the real thing with only 73 000 actual miles and, off course, in the Shelby Registry.

« 2853 GT 500 Completed 7/5/67 and shipped to Cadiz Motor Co (Cadiz, KY) A «Z» precedes the Shelby VIN previously owned by Miles Weinmann (Champaign, IL) ’71 form Packey Webb Ford (Wheaton , IL) used car lot for $2, 495. It is believed to have had only prior owner (not known) Purchased by third owner John Schilsky (Springfield, IL) ’00-’08. Shilsky advised the SAAC in’08 that he was putting the car for sale. The car was sold at the Barret Jackson auction (Scottsdale, AZ) 1/08. The car was sold to Paul Waterworth (Jupiter, FL) » then sold to the present owner in ’13 after a professional inspection/appraisal.
Note that the car sold for 209 000 $ in ’08 and was appraised at 215 000 $ in ’13 before purchase.

The magazine reported the sale of Shelby no 2853 at Barret Jackson for the sum of 209 000 $ US dollars. It was described as a very nice driver that was driven and enjoyed. It was then restored professionally and was then appraised before last purchase by the present owner for the sum of 215 000$ in 2013.

Payment terms will be discussed with winner bidder (bank wire is the fastest and easiest option). Of course, serious bidders only. Full payment before shipping the vehicle or before to trailer it back home. The vehicle is not mine, I am listing it for a private party.
All sales are FINAL. You can come over and inspect the car if you wish though, we have a local airport (YQB) and I can pick you up.
CUSTOMS AND OTHER FEES INVOLVED
FOR USA BUYERS, a 350$ US fee applies for US broker and Customs bond added according to price paid. We may provide you with required to cross border and/or register the car. No duties involved here as it is a domestic car.
FOR CANADIAN BUYERS, there are no fees involved other than shipping and your provincial or harmonized sales tax.
OTHER COUNTRIES BUYERS, please check with your local customs and motor vehicle bureau for the fees involved at your end, I can get a couple rates to take it to your preferred sea port including export paperwork.
SHIPPING TERMS
Shipping that kind of vehicle from Quebec city (Canada) to York State is about 1200$, to Florida 2100$, to Texas, about 2500$ and to California, about 3100$ depending on season and exact location. If you have a carrier of your own, we can work that out too...
