For Sale: 1968 Camaro SS 396.
The original motor is long gone. A healthy 350 with a brand new Holley 750 coupled to a Muncie M21 which has been recently rebuilt along with shifter. It shifts smoothly and drives with no noise. The 12 bolt was recently rebuilt with new internals 3:73 posi. All new front BMR coil drop springs and rear multi-leaf springs, brake lines, hoses, brake booster, master cylinder, exhaust. Heavy duty front and rear sway bars and old school traction bars. The interior was just all redone from top to bottom headliner, carpet. dash pad, seat foam all of it. It is an original Black Deluxe interior car. Has new AM/FM in it. I replaced the front windshield recently. I have new in box which is included a new Camaro SS 396 emblem set, a passenger side door mirror and wheel well trim never installed all new. I will include whatever small odds and ends I may have for the car. It has been a fun car. Drive as it is or take it to the next level. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. It is a driver and it draws attention when I stop for gas a crowd always gathers.
Many ask how can it be a SS 396 car? Simple look at the heater core. It comes out of the center of the case. It is in need of a new one and it has never been out. SS 396 cars where rare back in 68 and there are not many left. This car restored will be worth quite a lot of money as it is not the more common small block car.
Why am I selling? Well I have purchased a 1969 Mustang fastback. I will consider realistic offers I am not interested in any trades.
