Here is a Genuine Fremont-Built GTO-- April, 1968. Pontiac Historic Services documentation with car.. Bay Area, CA car all its life: I am 2nd owner. 132, 000 original miles, I bought it in 2004. Total Production: 77, 704 Hardtops, 9980 Convertibles 400ci engine, now upgraded to 461ci. (see mods list below) Turbo HydraMatic transmission-- rebuilt 2017. HURST OEM , HIS and HERS shifter Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Top, Power Rear Antenna, Hide-a-Way Headlights, Rally Wheels, AM Radio, Tinted Glass, Remote Rear View Mirror. Original Upholstery in excellent condiition. UPGRADES: $8255. in receipts comes with car. Engine rebuild in 2017 completed by GTO Club member who is expert in Pontiac engines. All work documented with pictures in binder to come with car: 400 block has a BUTLER 461ci Stroker Kit consisting of an EAGLE 4.25 stroke crank, EAGLE H-Beam Rods and custom ROSS dished pistons. Bore is 030 over and block was milled for zero deck height. Compression ratio is 91 Octane friendly 9.2:1. Ken Crocie of H.O. PERFORMANCE picked the CRANE 222/234 degree hydraulic flat tappet on a 114 degree LSA specifically for this engine. Heads rebuilt by race shop-- pictures in file. New Power Brake Master Cylinder. New Shocks.. New Steering Box. 2013: Complete repaint OEM color: Flambeau Burgundy. 2014: New Convertible Top. This car runs very true and straight and is remarkably shake and rattle free.
