You are bidding on a stunning 1968 Shelby Cobra GT500 KR “King Of The Road” Fastback preserved in climate control time warp unrestored condition fully optioned with the factory 428 V-8 4bbl with Lemans valve covers, tilt-away steering wheel, power steering, power front disc brakes, deluxe Belts, all the original purchase paperwork and build sheet to document, Lime Green Metallic with Black interior simply an amazing GT500KR. Only 3 Owners with complete ownership history including registrations. Was sold new at Jack Gibbons City Ford to the 1st owner on 6-23-1968. It has been carefully stored in my climate control garage for past 20 years under wraps. It has never been available to the market prior to this auction. Your chance to own an unmolested example. Serious buyer inspections can be scheduled by appointment only. *They are only original once. This is the genuine article a real survivor with possibly the lowest miles on a GT500KR Fastback out there. It was undercoated at the the selling dealer and waxed as noted on the Original purchase order. The car is rock solid. Tires were recently replaced with correct Speedway tires, the spare and 10 spoke wheel are original equipment in the trunk. The Autolite battery was recently replaced. The Lime Green Metallic Paint has wonderful patina with minor imperfections expected at this age overall it looks fantastic.
