Flywheel lightened and balanced with new clutch and t/o bearing, ceramic coated exhaust manifold, New U joints, new center bearing, drive shaft balanced. New clutch master and slave cylinders New transmission synchros..New water pump, Weber 40 mm carbs with full air cleaner (air horns and mountings in a box) gas tank serviced with, new level sender New fuel pump and fuel lines.
New alternator. Sealed battery relocated to trunk area. Starter rebuilt, Becker Europa 2 radio, Blaupunkt speakers. Tach and speedo serviced. New fog lamps.
Michelin tires, new poly suspension bushings throughout, Chromadora lightweight alloy wheels, spare tire on silver painted wheel. New master cylinder, new brake lines with braided steel flex hoses .New front brake rotors, new pads.brake booster re-built, New springs which drop the car one and one half inches
Where I stopped: The dashboard needs replacing. I like the way it looks now so I never tried to find the missing console which sits between the seats. The car is very fast, shifts easily and besides being beautiful is fun to drive. Health problems are putting an end to this project of love. I have enjoyed the process and the result but must move on.
