1969 was the last year that Austin-Healey Sprites were imported into the United States. It was also the last year of the manufacturing agreement between Austin Motors and Donald Healey. This car needs a total restoration; it does not run. It has a clear Pennsylvania title and is complete with many extra parts. Its last inspection sticker is from 1980-81. Engine may be stuck. I keep adding a 50:50 mix of acetone and automatic transmission fluid (way better than WD-40 and the like) to the cylinders and rocking it while in gear.
Extra parts included are shown in the pictures along with a second top mechanism, a second dash, a radio and its enclosure, carburetors, air cleaners, grille parts, left front fender, restoration and repair manuals, owner's manual, etc. In addition to the rust shown in the photos, the floor has a couple of small holes, but I don't think it would need a total floor replacement. The top no longer looks like the photo since a nephew put a basketball through it. Sheet metal parts are available from Victoria British and Moss Motors. Look at here for all the body parts available.
I have too many other projects and will not get to this one. It is stored in my detached garage, and I need the room for our other vehicles. Local pick-up only.
This car was previously listed on eBay, but the buyer wasn't able to complete the sale through no fault of his own.
I will not sell only the title and tag, so don't ask. If you buy the car, you get the whole car.
