This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS is laser straight and has all the bells and...  whistles. The 1st generation Chevrolet Camaro is one of the most recognizable cars in the world thanks to its distinguishable lines. The 69' Camaro would receive an extensive lower-body facelift that featured a newly restyled grille and bumpers, round parking lights and a reshaped tail. While the wheelbase remained at 108 inches, the '69 body looked longer, lower and more muscular than the 1968 models thanks to harder lines. The front wheel-well cutouts were squarer and the V-shaped egg-crate grille sat farther back. This 1969 Camaro SS is finished in Hugger Orange with white SS stripes and sports the special ducted hood along with front and rear spoilers. Exterior SS options also include black sill moldings, a special suspension, F70 tires and applicable SS badging. The black interior features houndstooth insert bucket seats, a center console with gauges and the popular horseshoe shifter. Interior amenities include an upgraded Pioneer CD stereo, heat and defrost settings, and wood-grain console and dash inserts, and the carpets are in relatively good condition. A 396/350 HP V-8 engine has been equipped with an Edelbrock Performer intake, MSD ignition, headers and dual exhaust. Power from the formidable 396 CI powerplant is sent to the rear rally wheels fitted with BF Goodrich radial tires through an automatic TH350 transmission. The car features power steering and front disc brakes to aid the driver in controlling this beast. This is a sharp-looking example of an American icon and one of the most recognizable cars ever built.
