I purchased this 1969 2000 Roadster from Les Cannaday at Classic Datsun in Vista CA (where it is still located) with the intention of doing a complete restoration. I am pretty sure the numbers are matching; engine to chassis. Well, it doesn't look like I will be able to follow through so I am offering the car for sale. If you are looking to do a complete restoration; Les is the ONLY person who should touch your car; but he doesn't take on just anyone's car.
No one knows these cars better than Les Cannaday and Classic Datsun.
The engine and trans have been removed from the car but can be reinstalled. The trans is good but the engine will need to be rebuilt as the engine seized. The car will include most everything to make it complete; grille, headlight bezels, top frame, proper seats etc.
Car is located at Classic Datsun in Vista CA and can be seen by appointment as the shop is not always open.
