1969 Mercury Cougar convertible, S-Code 390 4 barrel 4 speed car. This is an Introductory Show Unit car; I believe it was the 40th one produced, and it is loaded with options. There is a photo of the The Marti report, it is missing the am/fm radio and the spare tire. The motor was rebuilt and ran on an engine test stand, however, I would still have it looked to make sure it's all good on the inside, and the same with the 4 speed.The car will need more rust repair done, it had been started but there's more to do. There are new inner rockers, floors, 1/4 's and torque boxes . It needs seat risers and a possible rear frame rail in the back. They should have put outer wheel houses in when they did the 1/4 s but they didn't. The doors and deck lid are rusty, the hood was replaced and looks good. Not sure if the power windows work. I can put the motor in for transport if needed. This would be a beautiful, one of a kind car finished. .. I just don't have the time.
