Up for bids is my personally owned 1969 Oldsmobile 442. (VIN#344779M364659), (W-29 Package), Post, 4spd, with Air Conditioning. Out of 26, 357 442s built only 2475 sport coupes were produced. This one is dressed with original code 75 Aztek Gold with in beautiful condition black interior. It has the original number matching block to the VIN# (400cu.in.350hp), the the heads, intake, and carberator were replaced during the rebuild. The original C heads come with the car. The engine is backed up by the Muncie M20 4spd transmission which comes with the car but currently installed is a Borg Warner T10. The M20 is a perfectly good working transmission. The car has had one repaint roughly 15 years ago and still shines like a factory paint job. The engine has been refurbished with new rings, barrings, gaskets, and seals. The clutch has been replaced and has very few miles on it. This car has power steering, power brakes with front disks, bucket seat equip, console delete, 3:23 rear posi, and 14x6 factory ralley wheels. There is an after market wing added to the rear trunk lid that was done by the previous owner. These wings were standard on the 1969 Hurst Olds and carried on until 1972. The clock in the dash was removed because it did not work and it has been replaced with a working tachometer. The heat blows hot and a/c blows cold. There is no rot on this vehicle anywhere. All the body panels are original and rust free. The lines on the car are near perfect. The underneath of the car is clean with no rust and the frame and rear frame rails are perfect. All the chrome and stainless on the car is in excellent condition. All lights and signals are operational and it will have no problem passing inspections. The car runs and drives great. The rarity of this car is to be kept in mind as it is a post car edition with factory 4spd and air.
The winning bidder of this car will be pleased with this car's condition and as to where I have the reserve reasonably set. Buy it now offers will be entertained but I will not divulge the reserve price and will let the auction run its course if a buy it now offer cannot be met. The buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up or any arrangements made for the vehicle to be picked up. I will require a $500 non refundable deposit via paypal within 24 hours from the end of auction with the balance paid in full within 7 days from aution end. I will except balance payment through paypal, certified bank check, wire transfer, or cash in person. Vehicle will not be released until all funds have cleared. I have the right to end the auction early if the vehicle is sold locally. I do have it locally advertised. I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability.
