This triple Black 1969 Olds 442 Convertible is being offered at a reasonable $39, 900. This is a true Olds 442 muscle car that turns heads everywhere it goes. This car was restored by a gentleman who lived in FL who wanted a car he could drive anywhere. He has since passed away and we are selling it for the family. That being said, there may be some questions that we may not be able to answer. But, we assure you, that this car was restored to a very high quality!!
The car was originally Aztec Gold (paint code #75). It has the proper black Strato bucket seats and black convertible top (code 930). The original 400 engine and automatic transmission have been replaced with an Olds 350 engine and a Tremac 5-speed manual transmission. NOTE: The engine has a slight tick that goes away once the car warms up. We were not able to pinpoint what the noise is. Our best guess is valve noise as it goes away once the engine is at temperature and doesn't remain constant as with a lower engine noise. We believe the price reflects this. The frame/body are near perfect with minimal wear. Car is equipped with power disc brakes and power steering as well as a power top. All the instruments work as they should. Car has great oil pressure and does not run hot. We would be happy to supply additional photos upon request. Car is sold AS-IS so please ask questions before before bidding. $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of auction's end. We may be able to assist with transportation at the buyers expense. This car is for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Payment by cash in person or cashier's check only (funds must clear before pickup or delivery).
