About this vehicle This 1969 Opel Kadett 1.1 B Coupe is a project vehicle. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller's Notes I’m not certain that the 1.1 is original because the trunk emblem states it’s a Rallye Kadette 1500 so either the engine has been replaced or the trunk lid has been replaced. Vehicle Details I’ve had this 1969 Opel kadette rallye for 11 years . Overhauled to include piston rings, new bearings, new valves, new timing chain and gears. Engine was bored ten over. Front end has new tie rod ends and upper and lower ball joints. New rotors and calipers, and brake lines. New clutch, new brake shoes and wheel cylinders in back. New shocks all the way around. Tires are 11 years old, but still in new condition. New battery. Interior is average to above average for 52 year old car. There is no rust underneath as the car was undercoated many years ago. Body is fair or better, body is unusually straight, no dents or dings but a small amount of rust at the bottom edge of doors. This sale includes a 1968 parts car with rust free doors and additional parts too numerous to list. To name a few though, I will include two new old stock fenders, three 1.1 liter transmissions and lots of glass.
