This was a brown on brown Plymouth Satellite, that was parked in the 1990's. Originally was a 318/904 P/S, PB. It went thru an extensive reconditioning this past year. But it is a lot more then just driver quality.
BASIC REVIEW:
Because it has been sitting for so long just about everything was replaced in regards to the drive line. Has all new brakes with a complete BRAND NEW disc brake conversion set up added to the front in replace of the power drum brakes that were there. All new rear brakes in the back and all new brake lines and hoses. The fuel tank, sending unit and all gas lines were replaced included upgrading the fuel line to 3/8 for the 440. Brand new upper control arms, ball joints inner and outer tie rods, and adjusting sleeves. new u-joints in the driveshaft. Rear axle shafts received new outer bearings and seals.
440: is a 1976 engine. it was bored 30 over and received a fresh ground crank at 10/ 10 on the bearings. Camshaft was upgraded to a performance level above stock. New headers backed by new 2 1/2 in exhaust kit with new mufflers. Carb is an Edelbrock 750 cfm with a new rebuilt distributor and obviously new plugs and wires. Rebuilt alternator, power steering pump, starter, and brackets. It has a new fuel pump and rebuilt power brake booster and master cylinder with a new proportioning valve. Brand new Radiator. Transmission has a new B&M Torquemaster
BODY: New Goodmark quarter panels on both sides, Road Runner tail lights, New AMD Road Runner hood and insert, New Sherman Associates 2 pc trunk pan, AMD trunk pan drop offs, New Rear crossmember, and extensions and fuel tank brace and new AMD Leaf Spring Perches with new shackles. Brand new Gabriel air shocks in the rear and gas charged shocks up front. New partial rear frame rails installed. The front frame rails have had repairs made and were reinforced with plated steel in and around behind the front wheels. There were also frame repairs made at the ends of the middle torsion bar crossmember. Brand new front and rear bumpers and bumper guards and front lens. New rear spoiler, door and trunk weatherstripping. Paint is above driver quality and is nice. Panels at smooth and nice but there have been patch panels welded in. Undercarriage has been coated with POR15 over the original undercoating and fresh coating was sprayed in new or repaired areas. NEW reflective decals and stripes.
INTERIOR: NEW: carpet, front door panels, headliner, seat upholstery, chrome arm rest bases, door lock knobs, package tray, dash pad cap, glove box liner, owner manual, horn button, front window cranks and new door sill plates.
Brand New 15 X 7 rallye wheels with new caps and rings and lug nuts on brand new 60 series tires.
WHAT I NOTED: The engine has less then 11 miles on it. It will need to be dialed in. It has been broke in and runs strong. With most of the front end new it may need a front end alignment as well. They had a heater core leak occur during the break in and it was bypassed. I will include the new hoses and clamps with the car. The fuel and temp gauges are currently inop. I was told it was probably the Voltage limiter Regulator needing replaced as both sending units are new and the wiring is good. Window felts are worn. Glass is all original and show some age. Door glass has pitting in places. The 440 engine was out of a truck and the oil pan had a provision for a dipstick but when we put a pan for a passenger vehicle it does not but the provision for the dipstick tube has been plugged on the block. So currently the engine does not have a dipstick. All window and hood trim is original. The drivers side fender c-molding has a chip broke off of it and should be replaced.
Overview: So the car would be great investment and a perfect car to drive. Nice investment and the fun thing about this car and you can just do what you want to it with upgrades of your choice and not worry hurting the originality. Everything is new so it will need to be monitored during the first miles as to making sure all shakes, rattles are addressed and the need to check clamps, hoses, belts, brakes, alignment etc. New parts alone are close to the asking price as with anyone who has ever restored a Mopar knows the cost is high.Clear Missouri Title. Ready for a buyer, Not currently licensed or insured as it was not driveable when purchased. No warranty whatsoever. My long description is to try to describe as best as I can, But I can not guarantee anything.
