You may view the build sheet to confirm this also, see it along with all this pictures! The car had a frame off rotisserie restoration and was finished approximately 8 years ago. The current owner purchased this car from a high school friend of his that had it since shortly after it was new. He had always told his friend, if the day ever came and he decided to sell it, he wanted the first opportunity to buy it, low and behold he got that chance and purchased it. This car had spent its entire life in the Minneapolis St. Paul area where it was delivered new. It had one repaint along the way and the new owner wanted to bring it back to the original color and start enjoying it. Once he had the funds he completed the mission and had it restored. The car was repainted the original Pepper Green (48) and interior finished in black bucket seats (258) The original block/engine for the car is still available (if agreed upon in the price) but the owner decided to put a new 455 in it. It does still have the close ratio 4 speed in it that has been rebuilt as well as a dual force center friction clutch added. Included in the sale are the original rally wheels like it would have had on it when new. This car runs and drives as good as it looks! The owner found himself driving it less and less and decided it was time for somebody else to enjoy it. He states it just too nice of a car and much too rare to just sit in my garage under a cover, it needs to be taken out once in a while The cost to restore a car like this would by far exceed what you can buy this one for and you can start driving it rather than sit and wait for the restoration to be finished.
