FOR SALE! 1970 VW Bus
The bus is definitely a real head-turner on the road. We've really enjoyed it as part of our family. We've used it as a means to sell flowers and local art. Likewise, it's been commissioned for photoshoots for local businesses and photographers. It's also been featured in the Netflix series Bloodline in the Florida Keys! We would love to hang on to it, but just bought a home and priorities have shifted. We just want to make sure it goes to a good home. Looks great, runs strong, and the interior is fully customizable.
It's been re-painted Turquoise to match the original color. The motor runs well and is very reliable (1600 motor). Can be and has been driven as a daily driver. Instead of a camper top, there is a large tinted glass sunroof (non-retractable). See pictures.
Interior: Included are the driver and passenger seats, as well as a back bench. All interior is original. The driver's seat needs to be reupholstered. The dashboard is weathered, but original. Speedometer and odometer are non-functioning. True mileage is unknown. All interior side panels are new.
There is minor rust in the vehicle. The base of the vehicle is solid and in good condition. The vehicle was stripped, sanded, and surface rust has been treated. Some areas have been patched with Bondo. There are three areas where rust must be addressed: front passenger floorboard, base of bay window, interior of rear hatch.
