Selling my all original bay window Volkswagen bus. This is a project it is NOT currently running, I am currently working on something else and can use the money to fund my other project. 1971 in my opinion is the best year. This was the last year of the early bay window bus with the upright engine, small tail lights and this is the first year the bus got front disk brakes. This is a 2 owner 7 passenger bus. Has original paint and it has the original interior. Clean Washington title in hand. This bus had been parked since 1995. It has minimal rust. Floors are extremely solid only rust is a small spot in the driver's rear quarter panel a $40 Wolfsburgs west replacement. Little rust under windshield nothing mayor can be a small fill or replace. Minimal rust on drivers side floor about 1 inch. The front windshield is cracked. Has all the glass, has all the seats, has all the interior panels. Headliner is made of wood. By the previous owner. Looks sweet . Rear seat has the original zbed bracket which turns the seat into a bed. 1 Key works all locks and ignition. (2 identical keys included.) This bus has front flipped spindles dropping the front 3inches I have the rear horse shoe plates to drop the rear and even it out Just haven't got around to installing. (Those will be included with the sell) The original 3 rib 002 4-speed trans is present. I do not know the condition of it. The original engine is missing. I do have a freshly built 2110cc stroker motor with dual 44idf webers turn key. (THE ENGINE WILL BE ON THE BUS ON ITS TIME OF DEPARTURE HOWEVER IT WILL NOT BE HOOKED UP.) This bus has not been on the road since 1995 I do advice the buyer to go through all the electrical and mechanical like brakes, suspension, etc prior to driving. Engine specs are as follows:

I'm posting with the photos I have on my cell phone more pictures on request I do suggest you coming out to look at it. A true all original time machine. Grateful dead and various concert stickers on the windows looks great. THE ARTWORK ON THE DRIVES DOOR WAS DONE IN THE 70'S CAN EASILY BE BUFFED OUT IF DESIRED. A great story goes with this bus as well as the original owners information and phone number. This bus is located in the desert city of Apple Valley Ca. About 1 hour north of Los Angeles. It can be seen by appointment. I can assist in loading onto the transport. THIS BUS ROLLS AND STEERS THE TIRES ARE OLD AND WILL NEED REPLACING. THEY DO HOLD AIR AND WILL WORK TO ROLL ONTO THE TRANSPORT TRAILER. IT IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
