Selling my dime (Ten Penny) I have a 1972 two door 510 with a very strong running L20B with a fresh valve job with a Nissan race cam! The engine has less than 5% leakage in any cylinder and the compression readings are 165 pounds straight across the deck. For induction right now there is a weber D.G.V 32/36. For exhaust there is a set four into one headers and new exhaust from the headers all the way out. It has a 5 speed transmission with a new clutch. There is an electronic ignition system from a 240 sx. For fuel delivery there is a stock manual and a electric assist pump. The battery has been relocated to the trunk for better weight distribution. It is 95% rust free with real clean solid floor boards. No rust holes in the floor boards just a little bit of surface rust. There is a few rust bubbles in the lower section of the chassis where they commonly have issues. It has been hit in the past L.H rear corner and was pushed in about two inches and the bondo that is there is now cracking. It was a very minor impact. I have included pictures of what little bit of rust there is and inside and outside of the L.H. rear quarter panel. It has a complete brake job. New front rotors, calipers, pads, and front wheel bearings and seals with new brake hoses front and rear new rear drums and brake shoes. The master cylinder was fine so I left it alone. There is also a new brake master cylinder in a box.
There is slightly more than a hundred miles on the valve job, brakes, clutch and exhaust. It also comes with work manuals and a stack of Dime Quarterly and a new set of Z G style fender flares.
OK so the dime has been a project car for me and it needs to be finished.The interior needs to be redone and it needs a paint job. It has a perfect dash no cracks! All the glass is good with one very small cats eye high in the right side of the windshield. It also comes with all the pieces that have been collected over the years a trailer full of parts too many to list. Things like four front fenders one of them is new, extra dash pads a box full of tail light assemblies, original S.U. side draft carburetors interior pieces. Some things are new in Nissan boxes a lot of stuff, including a 180 mm L.S.D! It is registered and insured and is being driven right now. Finished with a nice paint job I have seen these go for $20, 000 to $30, 000 on BAT.com The dime is located in Boise Idaho. Buyer will have to pay for shipping or come pick it up.
