Thanks for looking. This is a 1972 Datsun 240 Z with a five speed transmission. I have owned it for about eight years and I think I am the third owner, but I am not absolutely sure of this. I purchased it as a father and son project car. The outside was in good shape, but it needed an all-new driveline. The car was extensively renovated with a rebuilt 280 ZX engine being installed in the car. My son used it as a daily drive for about four years. He now wants to move on to another car so I have just finished my second renovation of the car getting it ready to sell.
I completely rebuilt the car’s original engine (numbers matching) and it has been returned to the car. The new engine has about 300 miles on it. The interior has been freshened up with new carpet, door panels, headliner, renovated console, cargo straps, and various other improvements to enhance the vehicle and return it to its original factory configuration. The car was repainted about two years ago and is most likely the third repaint. The car also just returned from the alignment shop, where a rebuilt rack and pinion steering system was installed and the alignment was checked and dialed in. Overall, the car is a reliable driver, which gets lots of looks and positive complements.
General Terms
Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. 

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle.
