1972 Datsun 240Z
I purchased this car from the original owner last year. He purchased it new on February 29th, 1972. It has the original engine and 4 speed gearbox. The original color is “918 Mexican Orange” and was repainted last winter. At that time, I had all new rubber window and door gaskets installed along with new lights and emblems. The car is very solid and has solid floorboards and trunk. The car runs and stops well. The previous owner had installed an aftermarket sport exhaust. There are no cracks in the dash. This spring, I had the seats redone. The bulk of the interior and carpets are original to the car and in good condition. The carburetors were recently rebuilt and tuned. The odometer and title show approximately 30, 000 miles.
I can’t confirm the mileage.
The original radio and hubcaps are included with the car (exchanged by previous owner)
The Datsun 240z is rapidly gaining collector status. These are great cars for not a lot of money (at the moment). A 1972 orange 240z with 4 speed with original documentation is the one to have.
I reserve the right to end the auction early. A deposit of 10% is required within 48 hours of auctions end, the balance is due within 10 days. Inspection is welcome and encouraged.
