You are bidding on 1972 Datsun 240Z with a 260Z engine.
Extensive amount of maintenance was recently done:
New TiresNew Exedy OEM Equivalent ClutchResurfaced FlywheelReplaced Rear Main Engine SealReplaced Rear Wheel CylindersNew Brake ShoesValve Adjustment + Carburetors adjusted and tunedFluids all around
The car is mechanically sound. Fires up on cold start with no issues. Idles good and drives well.
All electrical aspects of the car work except the clock and radio which is not hooked up.
Interior is in great condition. Passenger side has a small tear and dash has a crack (See pictures for more details).
The Z has minimal rust. Rust is visible on the top of the windshield and dogleg (covered by the sides skirts). Passenger side floor board was replaced and under the battery box.
Suspension is stock and oem (does show its age).
The L26 motor starts up and pulls hard. Factory 4 Speed shifts smooth and strong. This car is 47 years old and in pretty good shape for its age. An excellent platform for someone looking to restore or just daily drive.
The car is located in Los Angeles California. Inspections are welcomed and encouraged.
Buyers out of state are responsible for pick up and delivery. Local buyers are more than welcome to pick up and drive away
