This is a very good driver quality Datsun 240Z.
New paint, new rebuilt transmission, new clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate, light weight flywheel, motor has been checked over thoroughly - head off, new timing chain, bearings inspected, new gaskets, new head bolts, exhaust/intake manifold bolts, water pump. Twin weber down drafts carbs installed. New oil change and oil filter. Glass is good. No chips or cracks. Rubber gaskets on glass are good also. Interior door gaskets are rough. Interior is ok. Not restored.
The spare tire well has been modified by previous owner. The well / cut out for spare tire has been removed and then covered over with metal. I believe the previous owner was preparing the car for a larger than stock gas tank /fuel cell. I can supply photos for those who are interested.
Metal on car is sound. Previous owner did his own work on replacing frame rails and patching around battery. No rust around rear hatch and typical spots. I can take more photos and send them direct.
