Vehicle Description: 1972 INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER SCOUT II --Blue with Blue vinyl interior with white piping, Black floors, V8, Automatic transmission.International Harvester began building trucks and pickups in 1907. In the late 1950s they began to design a competitor for the two-door Jeep CJ 4x4. The 1961 model year Scout 80 made its debut in late 1960. The Scout II were produced in Fort Wayne, Indiana from 1971 to 1980 as two-door trucks with a removable hard top. The 1971 and 72 Scout II is most identifiable by its front grille, three horizontal bars between the headlights and chrome rings around the headlights. This Scout II was purchased by its most recent owner 5 years ago from a Louisville, Kentucky farmer. It is unknown how long the famer owned the vehicle but it is believed to have been from new. When purchased in 2012, this Scout II was sent to well-known Fort Lauderdale, Florida based Eldred Tailored Restorations for a complete overhaul and custom build. Over $23, 000 was spent on work that included a complete custom exterior and interior paint job and body work, full service tune-up including all fluids, plugs, cables and seals, new shocks, new e-brake system, renewed radiator, new battery, new tail light lenses, side-view mirrors and horn, new Falken Wild Peak A/T01 33x12.50R-15 tires, custom upholstered front seats, rear seats, and door panels, custom fabricated rear bench seats, custom heavy duty lockbox center console, custom fabricated beach cooler rack, and new outdoor waterproof stereo system and speakers. Most recently in 2017 the carburetors were rebuilt. Eldred Tailored Restorations produced a promotional video to highlight the outcome of the build. The ultimate beach cruiser, this custom Scout II has been collector owned and cared for and is ready for immediate use and enjoyment.

TERMS: WINNING BIDDER TO SEND 10% DEPOSIT WITHIN 3 DAYS OF END OF AUCTION.
Completion of remainder of transaction is expected within 7 days from the close of auction, either in person at the time of inspection and pick-up, or if you are unable to view the car the balance must be wire transferred before the car is released to be shipped. Car is sold as is.
We have used Horseless Carriage Enclosed Carriers for shipping for many, many years and have been very satisfied, door to door, enclosed & fully insured. All shipping arrangements and applicable costs incurred are done so at the buyers expense.
Please do not bid if you cannot follow through with these terms.
We reserve the right to cancel this auction early, if a sale transpires outside of the ebay auction.
Fees and Taxes
Out of state buyers are not charged tax, title, or license but are responsible for the documentation fee. The customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state. You will receive 30-day in-transit tags.
