1972 Opel with 1970 parts car. Both cars have clean titles the parts car is rusted bad but parts are sometimes hard to find. I also have various parts purchased over the years such as an air conditioner. I bought this car for my wife in April 2016 for Mother's day. The body and was in great shape (No rust and just a few imperfections) and the engine started and could be driven. Once bought, It spent close to 2 years in the shop ($3, 400.00 in repairs) to make it safe for my wife to drive. The shop is very busy, has a good reputation and we were in no rush. Many of the repairs included electrical, ignition and engine repairs. Since out of the shop (02/2018), the engine runs well, lights, wipers and directional work. It is not a perfect or show car. The goal was to have my wife drive it for a while and do a second series of repairs later. The gas gauge, speedometer and horn do not work. There are a few scratches, paint bubbles, and chips. My wife does not enjoy driving it. So I drive it once a week and it doesn't make sense to keep it. This is not a fast car and you will get many telling you how beautiful it is and asking you what kind of car is it. Please check and drive the car. It is just off route 95.
