Description:

1972 Plymouth Duster for sale. Brand new everything sums it up. The car has everything you would want on an A-body- flawless sharktooth grill, Tuff steering wheel, dual snorkle hood scoop, rallye wheels, bucket seats, etc.
Its been block sanded and epoxy primed, ready for color of your choice! The engine bay and door jambs have been done in Arctic White. This is one of the cleanest bodied cars out there! No rust. Factory light undercoating still in place. Originally from California; started a 6/cyl auto. Still retains the fender tag. It's never been in a winter climate. Brought to Wisconsin last year via out west.
Now it has a 1970 forged crank 340 engine --all fresh 30 over flat-top TRW's at zero deck (10:1), Comp 268H cam, ported U heads w/ 2.02 valves, new seals, valve job, seats. Weiand Stealth intake, Qickfuel 750 carb, , Melling oil pump, windage tray, Carter HV fuel pump on 3/8 line to new tank and pickup. There are Zero miles on the car, just fired it up & fine tuning it this weekend. It should make around 400+ HP and torque- great all-around street car power! Alot of time & effort has been put into the car tuning, panel fit, detailing and getting everything right for a great driving street car.
I have also added new $800 Borgeson 14/1 quick ratio power steering unit and new saginaw P/S pump and lines. A joy to drive over the old sloppy OG Mopar stuff! Schumacher poly spool motor mounts on a '73+ K-member. MSD 6AL ignition & coil, a properly curved MP distributor, Taylor wires.
New aluminum radiator, built 727 trans with shift kit and 2600 stall converter. B&M ratchet shifter, Mopar deep trans pan, Lokar kickdown cable. LBP 4.5 front wheels on '73+ K member and new suspension, new disc brakes and master cylinder, new rear drums as well. New 2-1/2 full dual exhaust system with Hedman headers. New 8-3/4 aftermarket axles 5 on 4-1/2; #489 case- 3.23 sure grip; 7290 u-joints; chromoly pinion yoke. Wheels are 15x7 rear (245/60 tire) & 14x6 front (205/70).
All new Legendary interior- seat covers, carpet, nice weatherstripping, dash pad, headliner, etc. All the glass and trim are very nice. New fiberglass front bumper on Lingenfelter aluminum brackets (to shave 60 # off), original rear bumper in great shape. The car needs nothing other than exterior paint. All the signals and lights work as they should. I've added a triple mechanical gauge cluster and tach. It's missing the stock AM radio & speedo cable.
This is one of those cars that the doors shut nicely, windows roll up smoothly, hood and trunk shut flawlessly, dome light and door ajar buzzer works, etc. Just a great little, quick 340 Mopar waiting for you to buy and enjoy. Please, no trades. Clean title. Price is firm. I can help with transporting- inquire.
