Datsun Fairlady Z Vintage Rally car 90% restored needs to be completed. Original 5 speed drivetrain, L-20 Japanese market engine with original std. bore pistons new DeViss piston rings, ARP fasteners, original crank .010 on both rod and main bearings, engine balanced and blueprinted on final assembly. Head has silicon bronze guides, hardened seats and new stainless steel valves ready for no lead fuel. Bare metal repaint with Guardsman Red acrylic enamel paint, factory style wheel flares, completely restored brakes and clutch system all new parts. Have all the original parts in boxes, along with boxes and boxes of spare parts. Original odometer shows 89, 000 kilometers. Car has been stored covered indoors the last 3 years after sitting for several years at now closed vintage race shop. Dash needs to be wired, all lights work (including interior dome light) currently has a Crane Cam electronic ignition installed original distributor needs to be installed to allow tach to work properly. Car was at a shop to be finished, which went out of business. After new starter was installed it was stored indoors until we could get car back. Last time I drove it car ran, stopped and shifted excellent. Has not been started in over 5 years, has same fuel in tank. Fuel tank and radiator were restored at a local radiator shop. Includes 1972 240 Z 5 speed compete parts car. Front and rear bumpers rechromed has all Japanese market gauges in a recovered dash, has original factory foot brace on passenger side. Can be finished as a show or go car.
