Excellent car, everything works and it drives nicely. This is a great
driver quality car with amazing historic paperwork going back 35 years.
I bought it at Essen Techno Classica in Germany several years ago and
brought it over for my own collection and enjoyment. It had been
restored by a Dutch guy who restores and sells Citroens. I'd purchased
a 404 break from him a year earlier. This fun and funky sedan has a 4
speed on the column shifter!

I have my own shop with two full time mechanics. This sedan has been
looked after in house, with regular services and any mechanical needs
addressed immediately. I like for my personal cars to be ready to be
driven at any time.
This car comes with a large amount of paperwork, an original owner's manual, service book and other books that it came
with from new, still in their original plastic pouch. Also includes a
large original service manual and German registration documents showing
that it was registered and inspected for road worthiness. In Germany
this is called TUV and a car must past a rigid inspection to be given
permission to drive on the roads. I'll throw in a reproduction owner's
manual, which I purchased for shows and a few other docs regarding
Peugeot 404s.
I'm a motivated seller and I'll consider trades. MAKE ME AN OFFER :)

UPDATE 9/27
I've had a lot of emails
asking about any rust issues, the paint, etc. So, I've taken over 60
pics of the undercarriage and inside the trunk. Upon close inspection, this car has ZERO areas of rust concern. It had some previously, which
have been dealt with the correct way. They have been cut out and
replaced with metal, as can be seen most clearly on the passenger floor
pan. After the repairs, the undercarriage was treated with rust
inhibitor.

This car and my 404 Break were both restored by a German guy who had
a passion for all things French. He has a professional shop and
normally restores crazy Citroens. When he did this car, he did it to a
very good standard. The paint is excellent and the only obvious spot
that might be cleaned up is the rubber gasket around the inside lip of
the trunk, which shows burgundy over-spray.
