Description:

DON'T MISS OUT ON YOUR CHANCE TO OWN THIS FINE SAAB 99!
EMS—Introduced in 1972, the EMS (Electronic [fuel injection] Manual [transmission] Special) was a sportier model that was originally only available in a two-door version. It had a stiffer suspension and was sold in yellow or a copper coral metallic paint in '73. The new Swedish-built engine had 1985cc displacement giving 110 PS (81 kW; 108 hp) and a top speed of 170 km/h (106 mph). The grille badge differed from the more basic models in '73 and '74 only. Other features through the years - quicker steering, luxury interior, soccerball wheels, carpeted trunk, and front air dam.
Up for sale is a fine example of the Saab 99. This car was restored over 20 years ago and has been garage kept by its one and only owner since then. It has passed safety inspection, starts and runs great. The suspension and braking components have been serviced with new brake lines, shocks, fuel pump, rotor backing plates and calipers. The headliner has been replaced with new material and the window, door, and trunk seals have been replaced. A reproduction EMS striping was also applied to the car recently for that great sporty EMS look. If you are looking for a classic great running and head turning Saab, this is the car for you!
