For sale is a 1973 VW Classic Bug.
This bug is a very solid bug with no major rust issues only very minor spots (refer to pics). It has the most solid floor pan I have ever seen on a classic bug. The bug is a solid car with lots of work within the past few years. All the work has been done within less than 4k miles ago. The bug has a rebuilt motor, new clutch. Many components were replaced or rebuilt including the generator and carburetor, fuel pump, distributor voltage regulator and battery.
The tires have less than 1k miles on them. Has new tail lights and front marker lenses and just replaced the fuel filter and fuel lines. This bug fires right up and runs great. I drove it 120 miles today without any issue at all. Drives and accelerates smooth. It can easily drive 80MPH. I included a pic of the speedometer showing 80MPH. The body is in good condition for its age. It has a few bumps and bruises.
I took close up pictures to show scrapes and chips. The interior is in good condition but the rear side panels pop off sometimes and you continually have to pop the corner back on. I would recommend replacing the drivers side or both. They are not expensive. It also has a small oil leak, after sitting on the driveway for a week I got a quarter size spot on my driveway. Everything works on this bug; the fuel gauge/lights/ blinkers /hazards /windshields wipers/seat belts and emergency break.
