im looking to sell an AUTHI Mini Copper 1300 - 1275cc Engine, Matching Engine VIN with Body, imported from Spain, Only 4'000s unit manufacture back them from 1974-1978/79, consider one of the rarest mini models from that era, Spain Assembly facility, AUTHI, took the design from the Italian version Mini Copper Innocenti, the one you see on the first movie The Italian Job. As i learned 6 month ago, that only 2 units of this model are in USA, and that's a fact, because the owner who i bought it from, was the one who imported 2x of them from Spain and i arrived to late to his house to buy both of them, he sold the other one. I bought it in 2007, the engine was new rebuild in Spain by the rebuild was done by a well know repair shop in Spain, one of the oldest the oldest one, and the engine never leaked oil or blow any smoke, with only 5, 000km, and as i remember, i added an extra 2, 000km for weekend driving 4 years of having fun with it. I have to mention that this version of this mini came with full mini Copper S package, front Disk brake powered by a hydraulic servo and the famous 1275cc engine, all in this car is original from factory, not a frankenbuild engine attached to a mini body. All you see is a matching engine with his body.
I bought many parts to finish the project as original as possible, body panels include with the sales are the front nose, left side under door sill, rear battery holder, rear spare tire floor panel, all carpets and ceiling can be reused, all windows can be reuse, no broken shields or any of the windows are damage. This car is just for body fix, rust removal, change damage rusted panels and prep to pain, engine is fully working and transmission too, i drove it many years and no issues. I decided in 2012 to restore it, so i remove all the basic parts, except the engine, body chassis, and removed: Windshields, windows, muffler, Electrical hardness, gas tank, basically most of the accessories, from center gauges panel, heaters, seats, ect...
the reason im selling the car is lack of time and money to finished what I started, this car is for some one who knows and understand the value of a classic car, the uniqueness of such car and will give him the love i never was able to give him. This cars was very special to me, and I hope to find an owner who will restore it to his original state.
I can guarantee that the engines is 100% working, we can arrange to fire it up in person or via Skype, and of course you are welcome to visit and see it your self.
Please only serious people, and we can work with escrow if need it. All parts of the car are organize in boxes by category, but and inventory can be given if a seller is found and deposit is made or escrow is stablished. No parts are missing, everything should be there as i pack them. I own the title , no issues and is clean.
