A Rare (1 of 280) Matching Numbers
1974 Roadrunner That’s Never Been Out of The Family.
We Owned Five Of These 74’s, And
This The Last Green Machine I’m Selling (I’m keeping one because it has only
1, 200 original miles)…
Please don’t email me and ask me, “What I’m looking for, or what’s the reserve?” I have a career and I can’t respond to every email. Just email me an offer…
Please view a short video at here
It Has Factory A/C That’s Been
Converted For Compliance And Blows Ice Cold As Well As The Hurst Pistol Grip
Package (4-Speed Manual Transmission).
The 400ci V8 Is In Near PERFECT
CONDITION.
The Vehicle Has Always Been Garage Kept.
I'm often peppered with questions
about spotting an original versus a fake. First, understand what the letters
and numbers mean when considering a Mopar piece of history i.e. VIN and
Tag. All 1970's era Road Runners have a
VIN beginning with RM like this one... The second two numbers 21
signify that it's a 2-Door Coupe. The fifth, P, reveals the engine, and the
following number, 4, is the year. This Road Runner is an RM21P4 (VIN and Fender
Tag).
She's a turnkey muscle car from day
one that's ready rumble and turn heads from day one.
When I Acquired the Vehicle, It Had
19, 000 Original Miles. Today, The
Chassis Has A Shade Under 32, 000 Original Miles, And Less Than 5, 000 Since The
Entire Engine Was Broken Down Piece By Piece.
Many so-called experts have emailed
me with claims that big block 400 or 440's with the Hurst Pistol Grip 4-Speed
Manual Transmission were not produced in 73 or 74. They’re wrong!
This can be confirmed in a Hemmings article
titled One Rare Bird. Also, my
grandfather was in charge of production for the Roadrunner.
Satellite’s that are restored to be
Roadrunner tribute cars with more miles’ list for $25-42, 000, and they sell for
around $31, 000. I’m not unreasonable, but I want a fair selling price that’s in line with the worth of this vehicle. In and out, this car is a near #1 Concours
level classic. The condition of this vehicle is between a #2 Excellent
and #1 Concours. Others in this condition have sold at auction between
$37, 000.00 for a #2 in Excellent Condition and a #1 Concours for $52, 000.00
(it's closer to a #1 than a #2). The value receives an additional 15% bump
for being a 4 Speed.
Every Nut And Bolt Is Stainless
Steel. All The Seals, Gaskets, Hoses, Plugs, and Wire Harnesses Were Replaced.
The Title Is Free And Clear.
The VIN and Fender Tag In Place And
Never Removed Or Tampered With (I did not remove it when it was painted because
I got scammed a long time ago on another vehicle, so I never touch the VIN or
Fender Tag even if resto or paint is required.)
Original Wheels, Radiator, and
Carb Can Be Included For An Additional Fee. I Added Aluminum
Radiator, Electric Fan and Shroud Kit (not pictured), and Edelbrock Carb
1406.
The Modern Stereo and Bluetooth and
Smart Phone Hookup Can Be Removed For The Pure Investor. It Retains The
Factory Radio and It Is Operational As Well As All The Gauges, Signals, and
Wipers.
The oil pressure stays steadily
around 80, and the temp pins at 180 degrees even when the A/C is on high under
the Florida summer heat. If you have a Mopar and can't figure out the overheating
issue then consider these easy fixes - install a lower radiator hose with a
coil, and make sure the clutch fan is functioning properly. I installed Aluminum radiator and Electric
Fan and Shroud Kit, but the original radiator can be included with your
purchase. I installed an Edelbrock 1406, but the original carb can be included. The original wheels can be included for an additional $1, 000.

The Road Runner is recognized as one
of the most desirable muscle car investments available to the collector in the
marketplace today. While most of the classic car market is suffering the Mopar
family of cars (Dodge and Plymouth) such as the Charger, Demon, Daytona, Coronet, Superbird, Challenger, Cuda, Duster, Fury, and Road Runner continue to
make huge gains in value. The average annual appreciation over the past three
years has been 15%. By 2020, it's estimated that their value will have more
than doubled, and by 2027 returns are expected to be in the range of 500%.
Since January of 2016 this vehicle
has appreciated a shade over 14% making this investment one of the best
performing and conservative investment opportunities available in any
investment marketplace. The average return for Americans that invest in the
stock market is 7.14%. In order for me to make all the money back I've poured
into this vehicle I'd have to hold it for a minimum of 5 years. Therefore, the
person that purchases this vehicle will make a very nice return over the next
3-5years. Experts tell me that in 5 years this vehicle will receive a minimum
valuation of $59-68, 000.00 plus an additional 15% for the 4-speed manual
transmission.
The point is you're not just buying
something that's sure to be pure enjoyment to drive, a ton of fun, and filled
with nostalgic memories of times past... You're making an investment that when
cared for properly will pay a big return in the years to come.
I might consider a trade plus cash
package deal, but no project cars. I’m a
doctor not a mechanic.
