Up for auction is my friends 1974 Triumph TR-6. The car has low 64, 703 miles on the odometer and is a true numbers matching car. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. This is you chance to get a straightforward Triumph TR6 well below the current market value. This is probably the best deal this year on Ebay for a Triumph TR6 and she is selling this week to the highest / last bidder. Heritage: This is a rare true numbers matching car and you can order a British Heritage Certificate from England or I can do it for you. The cars commission date was October 1974, commission number is CF 14406 U and the engine number is CF 14308 UE. Paint code is #82 Carmine Red and the interior trim code is #11 Black. Mechanicals: The car runs great and was just recently serviced with a complete tune up, new air filters, oil change, oil filter and the carburetors where adjusted. Car starts up with no issues, no smoke and no unusual noises. Car also has like new high end Dunlop radial tires on all four corners. Exterior: As you can see the pain is a weak in some areas so new paint is needed to take the car to the next level. Car sits evenly and squarely on the ground with no visible signs of leaning or sagging. The panel fit is very nice and the front and rear lower valances are in prefect condition. I could have tried buffing the car out but felt it might give bidders the wrong impression and that they would think it was a show car being sold at some ridiculously low price. Electrical's: This area is in average overall condition with the headlights working ( high & low beams ), tail lights work, running lights work, brake lights work, front and rear turn signals work and the radio works. Gauges: All gauges are correct and original Smith brand and appear to be in working order at this time. Interior: The interior is in overall nice condition as seen in the photos with a newer wood dash, newer dash top and the carpet was replaced a year or so ago. ] Soft Top: The soft is in overall good condition. Trunk: The trunk is rock solid as seen in the photo.
