The VW Type 181, Thing is one of the fastest appreciating collectable cars. This car has been used during the summer months only and stored indoors while not in use. There is no rust and mechanically the car is sound. Recently the gear box was pulled and overhauled, and the clutch and pressure plate were replaced. The body was also repainted and the quality of the paint is above average. The interior of the car is absolutely original including the interior and floor paint. This model has the optional folding cargo floor. This car does not have a top to it.
This car runs great! Everyone loves it! The chicks dig it! Finding one with this amount of miles and condition is rare.
