The Car is located in Ventura County USA registered with DMV but no Smog as of Yet, be aware it is not registered in california yet but in the system, I am told the following
You may not be able to register it in California because it’s titled as a ‘76. any other state will be fine, unless you know how to SMOG it,
(Typically, cars and trucks that are 1975 or older are exempt from smog checks, but it’s even stricter for classic Minis, since they weren’t sold new here since 1967).
BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repairs) won’t be able to help you, they can’t smog it because that year/model isn’t in any specifications they have as of yet, we are told if we pay for the BAR Test it will be ok, this is about $3000 for the test.
