This is a 1976 Datsun 280z 2 door. I've had it for about four years working on it off and on. Previously used as my daily driver. It stopped running about a year ago -- the problem was never diagnosed, but this car is typically easy to fix so it shouldn't be a difficult problem. This car is amazing and deserves someone who will give her the care she needs.
Purchase of this vehicle includes:
-Vehicle title (turned over when money received)
-Detached front bumper and hood (see problems below)
-A large box of spare parts (includes many original parts)
-Carpet to redo the interior
-Comfortable old seat covers
Work done on the car:
-Replaced starter, alternator, fuel pump, and fuel injectors about 1.5 years ago
Problems with the vehicle include:
-surface rust damage (have been treated with rust converter)
-Severe rust spots on frame rails (one on each side of the car) -- should probably be cut out and have a new piece welded in
-Front bumper and hood currently off due to broken latch
-Wiring harness needs fixing (or replacing)
-Cracked and torn leather seats need reupholstering
-Rear tire on the driver's side is currently flat, but it holds air and doesn't often need to be inflated
All in all it is a great car for restoration or modifying and potentially a great and extremely fun daily driver. Please ask any questions you have and I will answer as soon as I can. I would have included more pictures but I ran out of memory on my camera.
